Specialty chemicals company LANXESS will globally increase its basic prices for all Lewatit ion exchange resins and Bayoxide iron oxide adsorbers for water treatment applications by on average 3 percent. The price increase will be valid starting July 1, 2023 for all deliveries. Customers will be informed individually.

The variable surcharge introduced in the second quarter of 2022 will be retained and adjusted monthly on the basis of key input costs. The cost level of raw materials, energy and transportation remains well above historical averages and LANXESS continues to expect an increased level of volatility in the second half of the year.
