The second Trade Fair for Innovative Water Management Solutions, SIGA, will offer the sector an area for learning, analysis and reflection through its Technical Innovation Seminars and the SIGA 2019 Forum. SIGA is organised by IFEMA and will be held from 26 February to 1 March, 2019, in Hall 2 at the Feria de Madrid Exhibition Centre.
The Innovation Seminars will feature presentations by the main water industry associations, covering subjects such as:
"In Search of Efficiency in the Urban Water Cycle", by AEDYR, ADECAGUA and ASERSA; the "Digital Water Revolution", with the collaboration of ASETUB; along with the presentations on Innovation in Water Cycle Infrastructure to be given by AEAS, ASAGUA, PTEA and the Ministry for Ecological Transition, MITECO; Financing of Water Infrastructure will also be addressed by AGA, the Ministry - MITECO and SEOPAN; "Water Management and Resilience" will be presented by IBSTT and the Ministry - MITECO; likewise, ICEX, AECID - the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation - and FLUIDEX will offer presentations on the Internationalisation of the Water Company; and the Centre for Industrial Technological Development, CDTI, under the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities, will use its presentations to address the public and private funding of water R&D&i. The Nickel Institute and CEDINOX, for their part, will address the behaviour of nickel and stainless steel in water treatment.
The Exhibition will also offer exhibiting companies the chance to make presentations on their products and services and their latest developments within the SIGA FORUM, as part of the Fair’s Speaker’s Corner programme.
Meanwhile, Canal Isabel II, Acciona Agua and Aqualia, which have will have a significant presence at SIGA 2019, will make presentations at their own stands during the Fair, focused on the experience of their companies in innovation in water management.
This extensive and appealing programme is aimed at all water sector professionals participating in SIGA, both exhibitors and visitors, and it will be accessible to all visitors to the fairs being held in tandem with SIGA, such as CLIMATIZACIÓN & REFRIGERACIÓN, GENERA, TECNOVA-PISCINAS and HydroSenSoft.
Likewise, it should be noted that on 27 February, Feria de Madrid will host the world's first INTERNATIONAL WATER CONFERENCE, at which the world’s leading organisations in the field will participate, with the support of Canal de Isabel II, Acciona Agua and Aqualia.
