With experience in selling software (ideally data analytics) into Heavy industry, mining, waste or similar sectors, you will be a results-oriented, self-starting professional with a network that is excited about joining a high performance, high intensity company that is scaling rapidly. The successful Senior Sales Executive will excel at finding and closing new business with notable and consistent achievement of objectives and targets. The ideal candidate will be a great team player, competitive, hardworking and will embrace prospecting and qualification to supplement the leads provided by our marketing team.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Connect with clients by demonstrating an in-depth understanding for their business needs/goals and present the best solutions, maximizing customer value
- Identify customer needs and pain points and offers solutions to best meet the customer's requirements
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers to ensure long-term success
- Negotiate and close SaaS contracts
- Comfortable generating 75% of its own pipeline via outbound prospecting
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding pipeline revenue, forecasted revenue, and sales cycle revenue management that meets those responsibilities accurately/on deadline
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding managing data through CRM; understand current YTD budget and performance of YTD actual sales, pipelines and forecasts
- Stay up-to-date with internal and external developments and recommend new ways to increase sales
- Generate proposals and contracts
- Facilitate all related meetings internally and externally
- Keep current on changing regulations and industry trends
- Maintain deep, positive, long-term relationships with clients that result in referrals and continued growth in the business relationship
- Attend and participate in industry events
Qualifications/Experience/Knowledge:
Suitable candidates will be evaluated on the following criteria:
- Experience with selling complex solutions to heavy industry, mining, waste
- Ability to communicate product value and technical information in a clear and understandable manner to a variety of stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree (Business, Marketing, Engineering) or other relevant sales experience in technical industries
- 5+ years solution sales experience, ideally selling data analytics software or similar solutions

- Experience with environmental solutions, environmental management, science or engineering
- Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision or guidance
- Language requirements: English, German and French with additional European languages highly desirable
