The deadline for the registration of small and medium-sized technology companies interested in being part of the Brazil Technology Portal and possibly having their pilot project financed by the Inter-American Development Bank with a water utility has been extended.

Interested companies must meet the following requirements:

  • Be a small or medium-sized company with a branch or partner in Latin America and have experience in technological solutions for water and sanitation.
  • Have a proven track record of successful implementation of technological solutions in water and sanitation projects.
  • Have a highly qualified team of professionals in water and sanitation technology solutions.
  • Be compliant with Brazil's water sector standards and regulations.

Please register through the form by August 28.

The technology call is one of the stages of the Trial Reservoir Brazil, conducted by Isle Utilities in partnership with the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and the Innovation Lab of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB Lab) through the Source of Innovation alliance with SECO Economic Cooperation and Development, the Ministry of Finance of Israel, the FEMSA Foundation, and the Ministry of Environment of South Korea.

The goal of the Trial Reservoir Brazil is to promote the improvement of basic water and sanitation quality in Brazil through the adoption of innovative solutions and cutting-edge technologies in water resource management, water treatment and distribution, and sewage treatment.

Public and private utilities that have joined the platform will have their needs evaluated, and the small and medium-sized technology companies registered in this stage will be able to present their solutions directly to them and through the Brazil Technology Portal. If any of the utilities show interest, the Trial Reservoir Brazil may even finance pilot projects.
