The technology call is one of the stages of the Trial Reservoir Brazil, conducted by Isle Utilities in partnership with the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and the Innovation Lab of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB Lab) through the Source of Innovation alliance with SECO Economic Cooperation and Development, the Ministry of Finance of Israel, the FEMSA Foundation, and the Ministry of Environment of South Korea.
The goal of the Trial Reservoir Brazil is to promote the improvement of basic water and sanitation quality in Brazil through the adoption of innovative solutions and cutting-edge technologies in water resource management, water treatment and distribution, and sewage treatment.
Public and private utilities that have joined the platform will have their needs evaluated, and the small and medium-sized technology companies registered in this stage will be able to present their solutions directly to them and through the Brazil Technology Portal. If any of the utilities show interest, the Trial Reservoir Brazil may even finance pilot projects.
