  • Network Plus and Datatecnics partner to strengthen the UK's water infrastructure

About the entity

Water companies across the UK will soon gain unprecedented insights into the condition and lifespan of their critical mains infrastructure, thanks to a pioneering partnership between Network Plus and Datatecnics. This collaboration brings together two Salford-based industry leaders—one specializing in utility services, the other in digital water network management—with the shared goal of improving performance, efficiency, and sustainability across the sector.

As part of the partnership, Network Plus will deploy Datatecnics’ advanced sensing technologies to provide real-time, high-precision monitoring of essential pipelines. By integrating cutting-edge hardware and software systems with AI-driven decision-making, the collaboration aims to accelerate the industry's transition toward predictive maintenance. This will allow water companies to better understand the condition of their underground assets, helping them make data-driven decisions and address potential vulnerabilities before they become critical issues.
