Scottish Water has launched a major procurement process for a new framework agreement to support its digital transformation efforts. The contract, valued at an estimated £230 million (excluding VAT), seeks partners to provide a range of digital services across networks, security, and applications management.
According to the public notice published on the UK Find a Tender service, the framework aims to support the utility’s Digital Directorate in delivering core IT operations and advancing its long-term digital strategy. The successful partners will work collaboratively with Scottish Water’s internal teams to enhance digital infrastructure and service delivery.
The framework will cover three key service areas: network services, security services, and applications management. Bidders can apply to provide one or more of these services, and contracts awarded under the framework may span up to eight years, reflecting the scale and importance of the programme.
Scottish Water is one of Scotland’s largest public utilities, responsible for water and wastewater services across the country. Its digital ambitions form part of wider efforts to improve operational resilience, customer experience, and environmental performance.
