Logan Water, a commercial business unit of the City of Logan, deployed TaKaDu’s Central Event Management (CEM) solution across its entire network in an effort to reduce the City’s water network losses. The City of Logan is one of the largest and fastest growing cities in Australia and home to more than 327,000 people from more than 217 different cultures.
Logan Water’s has an ongoing commitment to reducing water loss that has begun with a small water pressure and leakage management program in 2001, following a comprehensive program in 2006 in response to the Millennium Drought. There have been several evolving drivers for the program over the years, from asset management considerations, legislative requirements, economic, customer service and efficiency goals as well as management of the ever-increasing amount of big data. TaKaDu Central Event Management (CEM) will be instrumental to achieving these goals.
“Logan Water’s ongoing commitment to operational excellence is clearly evident in their history and culture” says Amir Peleg, TaKaDu’s Founder and CEO. “I am confident that our CEM will have a significant impact on Logan Water’s goals, as it has been impacting leading utilities across the globe for over a decade. We are very excited to embark on this journey together with Logan water” he added.
