About the entity

Tedagua
A Cobra Group leading company, specialised in the design, construction, operation and maintenance of desalination plants, drinking water treatment plants, and urban and industrial wastewater treatment and reuse plants, and ancillary facilities

Tedagua has achieved certification in Information Management by using BIM according to the ISO 19650 1/2 standard, where it has been certified as the "Principal Awardee" in the "Design" and "Asset Development" phases, being one of the the first in the sector to be certified under this function.

For years, Tedagua has made a significant commitment to the transition in its designs towards BIM methodologies with the objective of increasing productivity, reducing errors and promoting the digitization of the company. The BIM methodology does not refer only to the use of certain tools, but to the organization of work through well-defined task flows and in collaborative environments, which allow the use of unique information by different actors, and at different stages in the life of a project.

The water treatment sector is characterized, among other things, by the uniqueness of its projects. The effort to make to systematize the designs and processes is very important, but just as important is the benefit that is achieved with it: the drastic reduction of errors and the increase in productivity in the areas involved.

Achieving this certification is a magnificent reward for the effort that Tedagua is making to position itself as a leading company in the sector due to its ability to work in collaborative BIM environments, manage cutting-edge projects with this methodology and implement cutting-edge control technologies that give confidence and customer differentiation.

In addition, this important step is part of the strategy undertaken by Tedagua to lead the innovation and digitization of the water sector. The BIM methodology is a solid base on which to build new technologies (digital twins, virtual reality, Big Data...) in the short-medium term, in which it is expected that they will be carried out in the set of services offered by the company.
