Toray Membrane USA (TMUS) has named Sean Carter as the new Sales Director, effective April 1, 2022. Sean succeeded Tri Huynh, who has moved into the CEO role at TMUS.
Sean Carter brings over 15 years of experience in water treatment and systems experience. Sean graduated in 2008 from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. He joined TMUS in 2014 as the western regional sales manager and made significant gains in Toray's reach in the industry. Sean was promoted to Product Manager for Toray's Ultrafiltration and Membrane Bio-Reactor Division in December 2016. With this new promotion to Sales Director, Sean will lead the sales team to develop and implement TMUS' sales and growth strategies across target markets.
Sean will be located in the head office of TMUS in Poway, CA, USA.

TMUS' sales team consists of a wonderfully diverse group of knowledgeable and capable people. Our team has made huge progress in the marketplace over the last ten years by being the most technically qualified sales team in the market. The regional sales managers and product line managers at Toray are some of the best application engineers in the industry. Their work has separated us from the competition. Their talent provides our customers with direct access to the service, engineering support, and products they need. My goal will be to assist everyone in the sales team to eliminate distractions and focus on their territories and products. We believe this focus will allow us to hit our performance goals by ultimately providing better value and a better overall experience for our customers. It is a tremendous honor to lead this talented group of people and expand our sales in our region.
