  • Water bill validation identifies potential 457,000 gallon water leak in UK

The water bill validation team raised concerns over the water consumption for a national retailer in the South West.

Water leak detection engineers from water consultants H2O Building Services were dispatched to locate and report on a potential leak which was estimated to cost the client nearly £12,000 over a year.

The leak detection team arrived on site to witness water rising above ground in the parking bays, however the exact leak location could not be pinpointed at first.

So the leak detection team came up with a novel idea to aid them to pinpoint the exact leak location for repair.

The water leak volume was calculated at 1,254 gallons per day.
