CAF provides grant to advance Barbados’ water security
The signing of a grant agreement between Government and the Development Bank of Latin America and the Caribbean (CAF) for US$700,000 will support the Barbados Water Authority (BWA) with the reduction of non-revenue water wastage. The grant will also assist in strengthening existing infrastructure for increased water security across Barbados.

EU to invest 45 billion euros in Latin America and Caribbean
During the EU – Latin America and the Caribbean Business Roundtable, organized by CAF, the European Commission and the IDB, Ursula Von der Leyen announced the investment of 45,000 million euros in the region. CAF has identified 67 national and regional initiatives to specify European investment in projects focused on reducing poverty and inequality, promoting the green and fair transition and digital transformation.

Ecuador signs $175 million loan with CAF for water projects
