Sylmar Water Treatment has named Kayce Collier as Chief Financial Officer, placing her in charge of the water treatment finance organisation that handles accounting, financial close, and reporting across the company’s operating businesses nationwide. She will work alongside President Melinda Sych and Chief Operating Officer Kevin Donaldson as the leadership team continues to take shape.
Collier arrives with more than twenty years of financial leadership experience spanning the water, manufacturing, and life sciences sectors. She spent six years at Xylem, where she served as Business CFO for the North American water utility division valued at roughly one billion dollars, and has overseen financial due diligence and integration for acquisitions ranging from early-stage startups to publicly listed companies. Before that, she directed global financial planning and consolidated reporting at IQVIA, a five-billion-dollar organisation, and started her career at Arthur Andersen.
“I took this job because of what happens underneath the operating companies. Our businesses can share the back office and still keep their local customers, teams, and brand,” Collier said, adding that getting this balance right determines “whether a general manager spends the week with customers or closing the books.”
Sych welcomed the hire: “Kayce is exactly the kind of leader who makes SWT stronger without making it more complicated.”
Founded seven years ago, Sylmar now counts eight brands operating in more than thirty states, serving sectors that include data centres, manufacturing, healthcare, food and beverage, and municipal utilities.
