MIYA installs over 800 solar panels for more sustainable operability at its facilities in Portugal
To improve sustainability of the energy consumption of installations for water and wastewater management, MIYA, through its Portuguese subsidiary INDAQUA, has installed 874 solar panels that produce 22% of the electricity of 13 facilities in Matosinhos, Oliveira de Azeméis and Santa Maria da Feira, located in the north of Portugal. The total investment was around 300,000 euros.

MIYA grants scholarships to students from the University of Porto, Portugal
The initiative, part of MIYA's corporate social responsibility scheme, has as its main goal to fight against academic dropout in Higher Education, which has become more severe under the pandemic. A total of 100 scholarships will be awarded to students with economic difficulties, with the support of educational institutions in the centre and north of the country.
