Santa Margarita Water District is investing $123 million to build a 1.6-billion-gallon recycled water reservoir, Trampas Canyon Reservoir, and another $21 million to launch the San Juan Watershed Project (South Coast Water District is a project partner). These projects will help the District meet its strategic goal of 30% local water supply by 2030.
