The Nexus Nord project, financed by € 10M by AFD and € 7.5M by the EU will, thanks to wind turbines – the first in Palestine – and to the solar panels, reduce the energy costs for water operators in the city of Tubas and villages in western Jenin.
These operators will be able to provide a more efficient and sustainable service to its 23,000 users and guarantee access to decent water and sanitation, a fundamental right recognized by the UN, through the financing of works of water and sanitation networks.
