The Aqualia Board of Directors has appointed Jesús Ortega as the new Chief Compliance Officer (CCO)
The new CCO holds a degree in law from Universidad Complutense de Madrid and a degree in journalism from Universidad Carlos III. He has also earned various post-graduate qualifications, including notably the Compliance Certificate from Universidad Carlos III in Madrid.
He joined Aqualia in 2007, and currently works as head of legal advisory services for Europe within Aqualia's Legal Department.
The new CCO's first task will entail developing and implementing Aqualia's Compliance Programme, one of the most important priorities that the company has set for the coming months.
