Banyan Water, the leading provider of data-driven water conservation for the built environment, announced that its Vine Control System, featuring Irrigation Insight® software, has been labeled under the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) WaterSense program. Banyan Water is also a partner business under the program.
Banyan’s Irrigation Insight® software leverages its WaterSense-labeled proprietary Vine Control System—a turnkey solution for large-scale irrigation systems that saves 50 to 70 percent of irrigation water for properties—as well as IoT sensors throughout a property to monitor, analyze and manage complex irrigation systems. Irrigation Insight® now carries additional customer benefits, including:
- Utility-driven rate incentives and rebate programs.
- Opportunities to remain in lower-cost water rate tiers—regardless of consumption—in select markets.
- Reduced interest terms on lending for multifamily properties under Fannie Mae’s Green Financing program, creating long-term cost-saving opportunities as well as monthly water savings.
