In a first for the water industry, six of the UK’s leading water organisations have come together to support the sector during the Covid-19 pandemic. They have put out the following joint statement:
“As part of the industry activity underway to overcome the pandemic, British Water, Energy & Utility Skills, the Future Water Association, Waterwise, Water UK and UKWIR will be working in close partnership to increase their support of the water industry across priority areas. The collaboration will see joint statements and the launch of activities that will help maintain the resilience and sustainability of the vital supply community to deliver essential services for customers and society.”
