Global leader of sustainable technologies, De Nora has named Dr. Mirka Wilderer to lead the company’s Water Technologies group as chief executive officer effective June 1, 2019. Dr. Wilderer, who replaces retiring predecessor Theo Brandes, joined De Nora in February 2019 as global integration director. De Nora Water Technologies is a leader in disinfection and filtration technologies, with a global footprint that includes offices in Europe, United States, Japan, China, Singapore, and Brazil. Dr. Wilderer is committed to bolstering the company’s revenue growth with geographic and application market expansion, technology advancements, and improved processes that will bring an enhanced 21st century experience to De Nora Water Technologies global customer base.

Born and raised in Germany, Dr. Wilderer has fifteen years of water industry experience in numerous countries in Europe and Asia, moving to the United States in 2009. She holds a doctorate in international management.
