Wastewater monitoring specialists, Detectronic, have been awarded a place on the Level Monitor Framework with Severn Trent Water (STW).
The 3 to 5-year framework will see STW install up to 10,000 proactive alarm monitors into its wastewater network each year. As a result of the inclusion, Detectonic is now in line to supply equipment, specifically its newly developed, highly innovative LIDoTT®Alarm which incorporates the latest technology from a sensor and communications perspective.
“We’re delighted to have been awarded a place on this important framework for STW,” comments Neil Butler, managing director of Detectronic. “We have a long and successful history working with STW, so we feel very fortunate to be able to continue our collaborative partnership with this latest project.”
Continues Neil: “Our LIDoTT Alarm constantly looks for preconfigured alarm levels and will report any rises over these levels instantly to the customer’s top end system. It will also report on the ‘return to normal’ state, enabling the customer to always know the exact status of their asset.”
Concludes Neil: “This latest in a string of UK water utilities frameworks further underlines our unique capabilities to deliver on large contracts. We look forward to working with the team at STW and supporting them to create a smart sewer network that epitomises best practice on a global scale.”
