Following from the Executive Committee and Committee Chair elections in May, EurEau is pleased to announce that Brian Murphy is nominated as Vice President for the next two years.
Brian is the Senior European Affairs Manager for Uisce Éireann (Ireland) and is currently one of the co-Chairpeople of our Committee on Economic and Legal Affairs, a member of the Executive Committee as well as representing Ireland on the EurEau General Assembly.
In his role as Vice President, Brian is looking forward to actively working with stakeholders, building on the publication of the Water Resilience Strategy to highlight the challenges and opportunities facing our sector.
Speaking about his new role, Brian said “We want to engage with a wider range of stakeholders to promote water advocacy to other sectors across industry, energy, agriculture, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, and technology. Water impacts on and is impacted by everything that we do every day – as individuals, economies and society – and we need to work together to ensure we all have access to water in the future.”
