We manage the most valuable natural resource, the foundation of all life forms: water; and, as a company committed to environmental preservation, we are aware of our obligations, both as an operator, from a technical point of view, as well as a provider of an essential resource to our clients. Thus, we adapt to their needs, offering multiple channels of communication to carry out administrative procedures related to their water supply contract. At Gestagua we call it digital client management.

At Gestagua customer service is one of our priorities, so we develop technological tools to facilitate digital access to carry out administrative procedures or to obtain service-related information.

We have two types of clients: the authorities, who hire our services, and the users of our services. Both are our clients, although they are as different as their needs are, and so we address those needs differently, but there is a common basis which is our own technology.

Currently, customers/users have access to the digital world through different commercial platforms, from which they can request various services, in almost any sector. Thus, it is necessary to provide new communication channels, to ensure our relationship with customers meets their expectations, while at the same time, they should provide us with more information about themselves to offer them solutions that are increasingly more adapted and personalised.


AZUL application: AZUL has a user-friendly and minimalist interface.

At Gestagua, the Spanish subsidiary of the French group SAUR, according to our corporate development guidelines as a water operator exclusively, our research, development and innovation department (RDI) has developed a system of technological tools that, interconnected, ensure fully transparent management for the public entity responsible for the service, and ensure as well excellent customer service for users.

Gestagua's professionals are pioneers of integrated water cycle management in the municipalities where they have a concession contract, with their own technology: an authentic digital revolution in the company, creating what we call the Digital Client and the AZUL communications platform.

The AZUL platform offers our clients a communication channel with a set of services through a web platform or a mobile app, permanently in service and updated with our user database.

As an application entirely developed by Gestagua, it is possible to change different configuration parameters and select the information to be seen, credential-based access systems and the accessibility of the data facilitated; thus, it can be customised based on the needs and specifications of any municipality as per their contract.

The user management system AZUL-CLIENTES is, beyond an application to bill water consumption, a tool to manage our relationship with customers. This vision provides a customer-centric service, not just a service focused on the market in an abstract way.

AZUL-CLIENTES enables controlling and managing the entire billing system, maintaining and updating user files and linking with other applications developed by Gestagua for integrated water cycle management, in such a way that they share the same technical/geographical interface in a single operating environment.

The same as with the rest of applications of the GEA environment, it has been entirely developed by our RDI team, which continues to update it with new functionalities and adapt it to the requirements of municipal technical services.

If we add to that the new artificial intelligence and machine learning environments, we open a door to a world where all of our systems must be ready. We therefore design innovative solutions to be close to our clients and constantly control all processes that are part of urban water services.
