IDE Water Technologies, a global leader in water treatment solutions, today announced it has named seasoned water professional Iris Jancik the new Chief Executive Officer of IDE Americas, beginning duties on November 15. As the CEO of IDE Americas, Jancik will be responsible for developing and driving IDE’s growth strategy in the North American markets.

“As IDE seeks to expand its momentum and operations in the Americas region, I am confident Iris has the background and business acumen that will enable us to achieve great success,” said Alon Tavor, CEO, IDE Water Technologies. “Iris’ experience in various water industry roles, as both an engineer and manager, and in several countries including Israel and the U.S., has undoubtedly equipped her with the knowledge and tools needed to continue expanding this important market. We look forward to welcoming her to the team.”

Prior to joining IDE, Jancik served as the Vice President of Business Development and Sales at Plasson USA. Her duties there included creating and executing sales strategies, identifying and developing market trends and working with the global R&D team to introduce products and capture new market share. Jancik also formerly served as Chief Engineer at Hutchison Water, IDE’s partner in the construction of Sorek A.

“I am thrilled to join IDE Americas in its ongoing quest to bring innovative water solutions to North and Central American industries and municipalities,” said Jancik. “Water security has never been more critical, and I look forward to playing a role in empowering the region with safe, sustainable and environmentally friendly sources of water for decades to come.”

Jancik earned her B.S. in civil engineering from the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology, and is currently pursuing her M.B.A. in international business from Texas A&M University.
