Isle recently hosted the Innovation Zone at Utility Week Live in Birmingham, on the 16th and 17th May 2023 with an exciting lineup of speakers and technology company exhibitors. Utility Week Live is the UK’s largest and most influential annual gathering of utility professionals, with 3,000 industry players and decision makers from across the energy and water sectors, who come together to collaborate and to discover and develop innovative solutions.
Isle hosted the Innovation Zone which featured emerging and innovative technology company exhibitors, who specialise in water distribution, wastewater treatment and wastewater monitoring.
Attendees were also invited to discover the Isle Innovation Journey which started at the mouth of the innovation river with Isle´s Water Innovation Living Lab (WILL) accelerator programme for early-stage technology developers. The journey continued downstream through Isle's Technology Approval Group (TAG), our established innovation forum showcasing 'step-change' technologies from around the world, who were given the opportunity to pitch to end users. Finally, the journey concluded at the Trial Reservoir, a pool of risk-free loan funding to accelerate the adoption of technologies to help the water sector achieve carbon neutrality.

It was excellent to hear from innovators, share trial learnings and engage in some topical 'riverside chats'.

Our TAG Live event was a lot of fun, hearing our exhibitors pitch their innovative technologies and interact with our industry expert judges.
