MPW and Porta Kleen announced the official opening of a new 30,000-square-foot dual-usage facility.

Located at 7950 E. 30th St., the facility will serve as an MPW industrial water regeneration plant as well as a hub for Porta Kleen operations in the southwestern United States. The building represents another step in ongoing expansion plans for the two affiliated companies. It is MPW’s sixth regeneration plant, along with Newark, Ohio; Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania; Sedalia, Missouri; Port Arthur, Texas; and Andrews, South Carolina. It also joins Porta Kleen facilities in Lancaster, Ohio; Cincinnati, Ohio; and Louisville, Kentucky.

MPW’s regeneration facilities serve clients within a 700-mile radius, restoring the exhausted resin from the company’s mobile deionization systems back to an ionic form capable of purifying more water. Clients requiring pure water for their processes include the automotive, power generation, petrochemical and refining and pulp and paper industries.
