The National Water Company (NWC), a Saudi joint stock company fully owned by the government (namely the Public Investment Fund), was established to provide water and wastewater treatment services in accordance with the latest international standards.

The National Water Company (NWC) has completed the implementation of projects for drinking water networks and pipelines to supply the districts of Al Yaqout, Al Zomorrod and Al Luluoa in Jeddah governorate. This project is one of NWC’s development projects to support the water system infrastructure, expand coverage, and improve the provided service levels in the governorate. The cost amounts to more than 400 million Saudi Riyals (over $106.66 million).

The company explained that the projects implemented will contribute to providing water to over 250,000 beneficiaries. NWC pointed out that it has implemented water pipelines and networks with a length of more than 320 kilometers with different diameters. The company emphasized that the implemented projects will have a great impact on improving the level of service provided to the population and increasing the coverage of water networks in the beneficiary districts.
