National Water Company (NWC)
The National Water Company (NWC), a Saudi joint stock company fully owned by the government (namely the Public Investment Fund), was established to provide water and wastewater treatment services in accordance with the latest international standards.

​The National Water Company (NWC), represented by the Water Business Unit in the Al-Jouf Region, has started pumping desalinated water to the Al-Murouj District in Al-Qurayyat Governorate through the transmission lines from the drinking water purification plant in Basita Center.

 
The company indicated that the project serves more than 1600 beneficiaries after extending the water networks by more than 7000 meters. NWC noted that that about 1000 cubic meters daily will be pumped through the transmission lines from the purification plant to Al-Murouj District.
 
NWC explained that the project aims to increase the coverage rate of drinking water networks in the region in realization of NWC’s strategy and upgrade the service provided to customers across all regions of the Kingdom.​
