Veralto expands UV water treatment portfolio through Alfaa UV acquisition

Veralto Corporation has acquired India-based Alfaa UV, expanding its portfolio of ultraviolet (UV) water treatment technologies and adding new capabilities to support industrial and commercial customers.

The acquired company will be integrated into Trojan Technologies, Veralto’s water treatment business. According to Veralto, the combination is expected to support continued growth in India while creating opportunities to expand across the Asia-Pacific region.

Headquartered in India, Alfaa UV has more than 20 years of experience in ultraviolet water treatment. The company provides UV systems for industrial and commercial applications, serving sectors including pharmaceuticals, food and beverage, and building services.

Commenting on the acquisition, Melissa Kapity, Senior Vice President and Chief Segment Officer, Water Quality at Veralto, said: “As water scarcity continues to strain communities and industries, and demand for sustainable water solutions accelerates, ultraviolet technology plays a critical role enabling water treatment for industrial applications in developing countries. We are confident that Trojan Technologies and Alfaa UV will be able to scale these treatment solutions in India and across growing industries throughout the Asia-Pacific region.”

The acquisition broadens Trojan Technologies’ range of treatment solutions while adding Alfaa UV’s established presence in the Indian market.
