NORMA Group, a global market leader in engineered joining technology, has had another production site certified according to ISO 9001. The plant in Lindsay, California, obtained certification for its quality management system in the design and manufacture of various water management solutions. As a result, NORMA Group’s water management products meet the same high quality standards as its functionally critical products for the automotive and industrial equipment industries.

“Quality and reliability have top priority for us. We want to permanently meet our customers’ requirements and continuously improve ourselves,” said Dr. Michael Schneider, CEO of NORMA Group. “For us, there is no question that we prove the effectiveness of our quality management with external audits and certificates. Our customers can rely on us to apply the highest quality standards worldwide and in all industries.”

Quality management certification at Lindsay covers the design and manufacture of the site’s complete portfolio. In this facility, NORMA Group manufactures a broad range of water management solutions known in the market for their superior performance, durability, ease of installation, fit and compatibility. These solutions include catch basins, channel drains, joining products, valves, access boxes and permeable paving systems.

NORMA Group’s water management production in Malaysia and India is already certified according to the ISO 9001 standard. In general, all NORMA Group plants are being certified according to an international quality standard: ISO 9001 or IATF 16949 for the automotive sector or EN 9100 for the aviation industry.
