Kieran joins the Northumbrian Water Group from Thames Water, where he was director for the Thames Valley and Home Counties areas leading a team which delivered record operational performance on leakage and service interruptions.
Kieran also brings experience from BT Openreach, where he played a key leadership role in connecting and maintaining the UK’s largest broadband network.
He has joined Northumbrian Water at a busy time and is responsible for overseeing the company's water operations, ensuring the reliable supply of clean water to 4.5 million customers across the North East of England, Essex, Suffolk and parts of London.
Kieran started with the company earlier this month (APR) and has already got his hands dirty, donning his PPE, carrying out multiple site visits and spending time out and about with the front-line teams who keep the water flowing for customers.
He has also been at the forefront of the company’s water resource planning, as experts predict another dry summer ahead for the majority of the UK.
