REID Lifting, the leading UK-based producer of aluminium portable lifting and access systems, has appointed Michael Stuhr as its new Regional Sales Manager for the DACH and Benelux regions.
This is the first time that REID has appointed a Sales Manager based in Germany and he will bring more specialised, local knowledge to the role, as well as being able to give more hands-on support to REID’s customers and channel partners.
Michael will be promoting the REID range of lightweight aluminium gantries and davits to resellers and helping them to build their revenue streams, as well as selling direct to end-users . He will be focusing on the proven durability of REID’s anodised aluminium products and the smart design features and patented innovations which have helped make products like the Porta Davit and Porta Davit Quantum benchmarks in the market.
Commenting on his appointment, he said: “I’m really excited to be joining REID. These are iconic products offering the twin benefits of lifting and fall arrest, as well as a whole list of USPs, which benefit customers in markets as diverse as water treatment, commercial transportation and M&E contracting.”
In line with the current Covid-19 restrictions, Michael is initially offering virtual sales and support visits but will soon be taking to the road across Europe with a mobile roadshow which will enable him to offer face to face, but socially distanced, product demonstrations, training and customer support.
