S&P situates SACYR among top 10 best companies to work in infrastructure sector in sustainability
  • The company increases its Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA) global score by 66 points on the prestigious qualification agency.

Qualification agency S&P has situated Sacyr among the top 10 international infrastructure companies in its ESG evaluation. The company significantly improves its score on S&P’s Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA), and goes from 28 points in the 2020 edition to 66 points in 2021.

S&P’s CSA analyzes the long-term impact of sustainability on value creation for companies. With a universe sample size of more than 8,000 companies, it has become one of the best valued ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) rating methodologies in the world.

S&P’s report joins Sustainalytics ESG Risk Rating’s recent evaluation, which, last July, situated Sacyr as the best company of the infrastructure sector in Spain.

Last February, Sacyr launched its new 2021-2025 Strategic Plan, which promotes a sustainable and innovative value proposal. In the past year, the company has reinforced its corporate governance bodies concerning sustainability and it has launched the 2021-2025 Sacyr Sustainable Plan.

In this five-year period, the company pledges to fight against climate change, with the aim of becoming carbon neutral before 2050. Additionally, Sacyr will increase its investment in environmental protection by 2025.
