Saudi-listed Alkhorayef Water and Power Technologies Company (AWPT) has secured a contract worth 59 million Saudi riyals ($16 million) with Saudi Water Company for the operation and maintenance of water treatment plants, Zawya reports.
According to a statement issued to the Saudi stock exchange, AWPT will oversee the operation and maintenance of water treatment facilities in Wadi Ad-Dawasir, As-Sulayyil, and As-Safa in Najran and Al-Wajid.
The contract is set for a duration of 24 months.
The company noted that the financial impact of this agreement has already begun to be reflected in its first-quarter 2025 results.
