Alkhorayef Water and Power Technologies Company has announced a significant new contract win from the National Water Company (NWC), reports Zawya. The deal, worth 191 million Saudi riyals ($51 million), involves six blanket purchase agreements to enhance water and wastewater infrastructure across various regions in the kingdom.
The contract, disclosed in a statement to the Saudi stock exchange on Thursday, will see Alkhorayef Water installing new water and wastewater connections in Al-Qassim, Hail, Jazan, and the Eastern Region, encompassing the North, South, and Central sectors.
These agreements are set to span 36 months, providing a substantial boost to the nation's water infrastructure. Alkhorayef Water noted that further details regarding the project would be released in due course.
