About the entity

Badger Meter, Inc., a global provider of smart water management solutions, announced a series of executive leadership appointments that will take effect January 1, 2026, aimed at supporting growth, innovation and customer experience.

Ken Bockhorst, Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer, said the changes “align our strategic priorities with a management structure designed to expand our market leadership in cellular Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI), while growing our BlueEdge® suite of solutions across the entire water cycle.”

Bockhorst added, “Over the past five years, we have more than doubled our revenues and profits, broadened our product portfolio and scaled our organization. As part of a larger company, these leadership changes best position us for continued innovation, differentiated execution and robust growth, all while providing a best-in-class customer experience.”

Under the new structure, Robert A. Wrocklage, Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for the past seven years, will be elevated to Executive Vice President – North America Municipal Utility, where he will oversee sales, marketing, operations and engineering resources.

Daniel R. Weltzien will be promoted to Vice President – Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer, responsible for the company’s financial strategy and management, accounting, external reporting, investor relations and treasury functions.

Bockhorst commented on the financial transition: “Bob has repeatedly demonstrated a natural talent for integrating both financial and operational leadership... Additionally, Dan has been a key part of our success spanning financial discipline, positive operating results, and accelerating the transformation of Badger Meter into a global leader of smart water management solutions.”

Kimberly K. Stoll will be promoted to Vice President – Customer Support and General Manager – SmartCover, with oversight of North America customer care, sales operations and customer success resources, as well as overall responsibility for SmartCover.

Matthew L. Stuyvenberg will become Executive Vice President – SaaS, Global Commercial and International Utility, overseeing related sales, marketing, operations, product and software engineering, and international support functions.

Christina M. Tarantino will succeed Weltzien as Vice President – Controller, and Corey T. Williams will transition to Senior Director – Business Development to lead business development and M&A activities.

Bockhorst concluded: “These executive leadership changes have been achieved solely through internal promotions and resources, which is a testament to our annual talent management and succession planning processes. I am confident that this enhanced leadership structure will position the Company for the future and build upon our long track record of success.”

The company said that none of the leadership changes are expected to affect its single-segment operating structure or external product line reporting.
