H2O Innovation has acquired bestUV, a Dutch manufacturer of ultraviolet water disinfection systems. The move adds proprietary UV technology to H2O Innovation’s portfolio of water treatment solutions.
Disinfection is a critical step in water treatment, targeting harmful microorganisms such as bacteria and viruses. H2O Innovation said the acquisition will enhance its ability to meet customer needs amid evolving regulations and market trends.
BestUV, based in the Brainport Eindhoven region, designs, manufactures, and services UV reactors for municipal, industrial, and maritime markets. The company has supplied some of the largest UV systems globally and maintains a network of distributors that complements H2O Innovation’s international platform.

The integration of bestUV’s UV systems with H2O Innovation’s filtration and membrane solutions is expected to support innovation across the company’s product lines. All bestUV employees, including its management team, will join H2O Innovation to ensure operational continuity.
