Hassan Allam Holding has announced that its subsidiary, Hassan Allam Construction, has secured a major water infrastructure contract in Oman. The project has been awarded by the Oman Water & Wastewater Services Company and will support water supply development in the Al Sharqiyah North Governorate.
The contract covers the development of the Water Transmission Network connecting Al Jardaa to Mihlah (Sawt). The project is designed to enhance water distribution capacity and strengthen supply reliability for both communities and economic activities in the region.
Under the agreement, Hassan Allam Construction will deliver a comprehensive system that includes 76 km of water transmission pipelines and nearly 600 km of distribution networks. The scope also features the construction of seven high-capacity reservoirs and two pumping stations to support water storage and conveyance across the network.
In addition, the project integrates seven solar-powered systems aimed at improving the sustainability and operational efficiency of the infrastructure. These systems will operate alongside advanced control technologies designed to optimise system management and ensure stable service delivery.

The initiative forms part of ongoing efforts in Oman to expand water transmission and distribution capacity while incorporating renewable energy and modern system controls to support long-term water security.
