Hassan Allam Holding has announced that its subsidiary, Hassan Allam Construction, in joint venture with Metipro (Metito Water Projects), has been awarded the Alexandria West Wastewater Treatment Plant – Extension & Upgrade Project, located in West Alexandria, Egypt.
The engineering, procurement, and construction scope of work includes upgrading the plant from primary to secondary treatment, including sludge digestion, biogas generation, refurbishment of existing facilities, and construction of new treatment units. The plant post upgrade will have a capacity of 600,000 m³/day to meet national effluent standards.
Additionally, Intech, a subsidiary of Hassan Allam Holding, with vast experience in EPC water and wastewater services, is actively involved in the project, ensuring seamless integration of advanced technologies and efficient delivery.
