Jokin Larrauri has been named Vice President of Smart Water Business at Schneider Electric, a global specialist in energy management and automation.
Larrauri is a seasoned executive with over ten years career at Schneider Electric, having dedicated his career to help develop the company’s water business in the field of information technology. Before being appointed Vice President of Smart Water Business, he served as Water & Wastewater Segment Vice President Global Sales and Business Development.
He has a bachelor’s degree in environmental sciences from the Autonoma University of Madrid and a master’s degree in environmental engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, as well as having attended IESE Business School.
In an interview with iAgua, Larrauri pointed out that “Schneider Electric is one of the leading companies in the global market for the supply of products, systems and services for power distribution, automation and control, software for advanced operations and maintenance management and energy efficiency services in the water sector.
Adding: “In Smart Water, we are global leaders with a supply of hardware, software and services difficult to match.”
