The collaboration's cornerstone is the development of the Tower NG series, a new line of cooling products. These utilize cutting-edge polymer technology in tandem with Solugen's biodegradable corrosion inhibitors. The result is a solution that not only reduces reliance on traditional organo-phosphonates but also promises enhanced performance in deposit and corrosion control for industrial plants.
Solugen's CEO, Gaurab Chakrabarti, underscored the shared commitment to sustainability and innovation between the two companies. "Kurita’s shared vision for driving sustainability through innovative solutions makes them an ideal partner for expanding the use of Solugen’s carbon-negative products," he affirmed. Chakrabarti expressed confidence in the collective impact they aim to achieve in decarbonizing the water treatment industry without compromising on efficiency.
Kurita's CSV business has rapidly gained traction within the company, focusing on solutions that not only save water and reduce CO2 emissions but also minimize industrial waste while enhancing plant productivity. The collaboration with Solugen represents a significant step forward in Kurita's mission to pioneer sustainable practices in industrial water treatment.
