NWPX Infrastructure, Inc. has announced the completion of its acquisition of Boughton's Precast, Inc., strengthening its footprint in the Mountain States and expanding its precast concrete manufacturing capabilities. The transaction closed on February 23, 2026, and the company indicated that it is expected to be immediately accretive to earnings.
Based in Pueblo, Boughton’s Precast specializes in the manufacture of precast concrete products and reinforced concrete pipe. Following the acquisition, the business will operate under the NWPX Precast name, integrating into NWPX Infrastructure’s broader portfolio of water-related infrastructure solutions.
Commenting on the transaction, Scott Montross, President and Chief Executive Officer of NWPX Infrastructure, said: "This acquisition provides a strategic beachhead in the Mountain States region and supports our long-term organic growth strategy. Founded in 1974, Boughton’s Precast has operated as a family-owned business for more than five decades. Its core product range includes stormwater and sanitary sewer infrastructure components such as reinforced concrete pipe, manholes, catch basins and grease traps, serving municipal and infrastructure markets.
The acquisition represents the third completed by NWPX Infrastructure in just over six years, following the purchase of Geneva Pipe and Precast Company in January 2020 and ParkUSA in October 2021. These transactions reflect a consistent growth strategy focused on expanding manufacturing capabilities and geographic reach.
