Executive Vice President Poul Due Jensen has been appointed new CEO of Grundfos by the company’s Board of Directors.
According to Jens Moberg, chairman of the board of Grundfos, Poul has been an invaluable part of Grundfos since the turn of the millennium and since 2015 he has been a central part of the Group Management. He said in a statement: “We are pleased that Poul wants to take on the position of CEO and we see it as an opportunity to build on and accelerate on the great results that have been created in recent years.”
A leading provider of solutions for the world’s water and climate challenges, Due Jensen believes that Grundfos is currently in an excellent shape with a well-defined and ambitious strategy. Talking about the future of the firm, the newly appointed CEO said: “I want us to strengthen our focus on a new and customer-oriented structure and focus more on innovation and digital competencies.” Another important topic for Due Jensen is making Grundfos an attractive workplace for talents from all over the world.
The statement also read that the Danish-based company has major tasks ahead in the short term due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but that it has to continue to look ahead.
