Saudi Arabia's National Water Company (NWC) has initiated the tender process for the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contract concerning a Sewage Pipeline Network within the Al-Madaen scheme situated in Hail, reports Zawya.

A source close to the project told Zawya: “The tender for the EPC contract (Contract No. 2) was floated on 27 July 2023 with the bid submission deadline of 31 August 2023. The EPC contract award is expected by mid of December 2023.”

The venture encompasses the establishment of sewage networks spanning diameters ranging from 200mm to 600mm, collectively spanning 63km.

A second source also revealed that the overall project completion and commissioning is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2025 and said that he estimates the project cost is $120 million.
