Saudi Arabia’s National Water Company (NWC) is on track to award a project aimed at improving water network efficiency in the Qassim region during the second quarter of 2025, according to a source familiar with the matter, reports Zawya.
“The project is expected to be awarded in April 2025 with completion scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2027,” the source told Zawya Projects.
The initiative includes conducting hydraulic studies, implementing supporting networks, and replacing outdated pipelines to minimize technical water losses.
The tender was released on 20 February 2025, with a bid submission deadline set for 5 March 2025.
