About the entity

The Ministry of Works in Bahrain has received proposals from six firms to provide construction supervision consultancy services for the Sheikh Isa Bin Salman Trunk Sewer Phases 1 and 2 projects, reports Zawya.

The firms in contention are Aecom Middle East, Stantec Khonji, p2m Middle East, DAR SSH International Engineering Consultants, Consolidated Engineering Company Khatib & Alami, and Egis International.

These projects entail the construction of deep gravity trunk sewers using micro-tunneling technology. The selected consultancy will oversee all project aspects, fulfilling the roles of both consultant and quantity surveyor. Each project phase is expected to take 24 months to complete, followed by a 24-month Defects Liability Period.
