Last March the Saudi Water Partnership Company (SWPC) invited Expressions of Interest (EoI) from developers for the Ras Mohaisen-Baha-Makkah Independent Water Transmission Pipeline project (IWTP).
Part of the Saudi Government’s Independent Water Transmission Pipeline programme, the IWTP will include 300 km of pipeline, from Ras Mohaisen to Baha and to Mecca, with a capacity of 400,000 cubic metres per day.
The SWPC has announced in a statement that 37 companies expressed their interest in the Ras Mohaisen – Baha – Makkah IWTP project, including 25 Saudi companies:
