Tetra Tech has been awarded a £18 million contract to provide water and wastewater sampling services in Northern Ireland.
The contract was awarded by Northern Ireland Water, the region’s main provider of water and sewage services. Under the agreement, Tetra Tech will conduct sampling and analysis of water and wastewater across multiple locations in Northern Ireland. The work is intended to support water quality monitoring and contribute to regulatory compliance efforts.
The contract will run for three years. Tetra Tech stated that it will use its internal network of specialists in water quality, health and safety, and technical equipment to carry out the project and support operational efficiency.
According to a statement from the company’s Chief Executive Officer, Roger Argus, Tetra Tech has previously worked with Northern Ireland Water on infrastructure and service-related projects. The company indicated that it plans to continue applying its technical approach to support water supply management and environmental protection in the region.
