Tetra Tech, a provider of consulting and engineering services in water, environment, and sustainable infrastructure, has been selected by Waterschap Aa en Maas, a major water authority in the southern Netherlands, to offer engineering and consulting services for expanding wastewater treatment facilities and upgrading the region's water system infrastructure.

The company secured positions in two sectors of a framework agreement, with a potential duration of up to six years. Tetra Tech’s water and environment specialists will focus on wastewater treatment engineering and design, aiming to address emerging contaminants and increase the availability of clean water for residential, agricultural, and business use. The team will utilise advanced data analytics and water management software, such as WaterNet™, to modernise water systems and improve flood defence infrastructure design. The project will benefit 780,000 people and 17,000 businesses across 20 municipalities by ensuring a reliable supply of clean water and protection against flooding.
