About the entity

Uniwater continues to accelerate its Nordic growth strategy with a series of acquisitions strengthening its position in automation and system solutions for water and wastewater infrastructure. The company has entered into agreements to acquire Controlpartner AS in Norway and Danish companies WASYS and ACOWA, further enhancing its presence and expertise in digital water management across the region.

The acquisition of Controlpartner AS marks Uniwater’s fifth transaction in 2025 and its fifth operating company in Norway. Based in Porsgrunn, Bergen and Oslo, Controlpartner specializes in the digitalization and automation of municipal water and wastewater facilities as well as industrial processes. The company, founded in 2015, brings 40 employees and a strong reputation for energy-efficient and reliable control systems.

By joining Uniwater’s Flow business area, Controlpartner strengthens the group’s capabilities in operational control, monitoring, and future-proof automation. Together with fellow Flow companies such as ASB VA Automation and WASYS and ACOWA, the move creates a powerful Nordic platform for innovation and product development in water infrastructure technologies.

Meanwhile, the acquisitions of WASYS and ACOWA further extend Uniwater’s reach into Denmark. Based in Roskilde, the two companies are established specialists in electrical and automation systems for the water and sewage sectors. Their integrated solutions for control and monitoring of the entire water cycle support both public and private clients, including municipalities, industrial operators, and real estate developers. WASYS and ACOWA will also become part of Uniwater’s Flow business area, where their experience in pump control systems and instrumentation will contribute to a stronger, more cohesive offering across the Nordic region.

These strategic acquisitions align with Uniwater’s long-term ambition to lead the development of smart, sustainable water infrastructure solutions across Scandinavia. By integrating deep local expertise in automation and metering with a broader regional network, the group aims to drive innovation, efficiency, and resilience in the water sector.

The transactions with WASYS and ACOWA are expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2025, subject to customary regulatory approvals.
