About the entity

Uniwater continues to strengthen its presence in Sweden’s water infrastructure market through the acquisition of 3VA-Säkrare AB (3VA), a specialist company in pressure testing and quality assurance of water and wastewater systems. The acquisition broadens Uniwater’s service offering and reinforces its position in the strategically important Mälardalen region, including the Stockholm area.

Based in Huddinge, Stockholm, 3VA is a well-established and market-leading player in pressure testing of water and wastewater infrastructure. Founded in 1990, the company has built a strong reputation over more than three decades. Its core expertise lies in pressure testing and quality assurance, but the company also provides complementary niche services such as well and separator repairs, flushing, pipeline filming and leak detection, often in collaboration with subcontractors.

3VA’s customers are primarily found within the construction and civil engineering sector, with municipalities typically acting as the end clients. This makes the company a natural fit within Uniwater’s existing portfolio, which focuses on sustainable and efficient solutions for water and wastewater infrastructure across Sweden.

“This is an important acquisition that strengthens our presence in the Stockholm region and adds specialist expertise in the growing market for pressure testing,” says Carl Berglund, Business Area Director for Uniwater Solutions. “We see clear opportunities for synergies with other companies in the group, and together we will be able to offer even stronger and more comprehensive solutions.”

Robin Norgren, CEO of 3VA, sees the acquisition as a positive step for the company’s future development. “We have built a strong brand and a stable customer base over many years. Becoming part of Uniwater gives us the opportunity to further develop our offering and create new collaborations within the water and wastewater sector,” he says.

The transaction was completed in the fourth quarter of 2025.
